Meet Clare

Central Illinois-based wedding and portrait photographer. Lover of quiet, significant moments. Honored to witness and preserve life’s most special days.

When reflecting on why I am passionate about this profession, my thoughts constantly center around my clients. My “why” is to authentically document life as it unfolds, so we can revisit these treasured moments. This is for you and about you. My goal is to understand your story so I can document it, ensuring that these emotions remain etched in your memory for a lifetime.

This wasn’t the plan, yet here I am!

I started this journey nine years ago in high school, went to college for an education degree, and taught for two years—always finding little pockets of time to shoot. Now, I’m so grateful to do what I love every single day, full-time!

The dream…

A woman enjoying a sunny day at the beach, holding a camera and smiling.

My dream is to capture life as it truly is—raw, emotional, and full of meaning. I want my images to bring your dreams to life, evoke feeling, and transport you back to the exact moment. Life is complex, and I hope my photos can reflect it in its entirety.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m soaking up time with my husband and our sweet baby girl. I have a soft spot for “grandma” hobbies—sewing, cooking, and getting lost in a good love story. Life is always better with a favorite beverage in hand, whether it’s a coffee, a Poppi, or a good ole glass of wine. I love finding beauty in everyday moments, and that’s exactly what I strive to capture in my photography.
